            Mission Statement / Philosophy

I believe that learning is something that children do, not something that is done to them. 
My goal is to set the stage and serve as a catalyst, guiding students through the process of learning by discovery.
                      
Educational Background

I received a Bachelors of Science in Education in June of 1985 from the City College of CUNY.  Since then I have been selected to participate in several enrichment institutes and opportunities, including:
