2010 August Arts Camp
This was a great year for reed sculpture at August Arts, the arts camp sponsored by the Shoreline LFP Arts Council. The kids created several challenging sculptures. Some of my favorites were the red panda, octopus, palm tree and Frankenstein. Some nice batiks were created as well! I saw a great mural of the Fremont Troll near Archie McPhee's in
Wallingford. The whole week was capped off nicely on Friday evening
with an incredible sunset viewed from the Edmonds-Kingston ferry.
